The live recording of his latest album, All Things New, was dropped in 2023, and it won the esteemed gospel singer-songwriter his third Grammy. This 2024, fans will get to enjoy the music from this highly acclaimed album. The record contains several notable tracks, including “Walk By Faith,” “Featuring PJ Morton, “We Need You,” with Kierra Sheard and Mali Music,” and the title track, “All Things New.”
The album follows Tribbett’s string of number 1 albums, including his highest charting effort, Greater Than (Live), which also won Best Gospel Album at the 56th Grammy Awards. The album, which peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Gospel charts, spawned the hit song “He Did It Before… Same God,” which also won Best Gospel Song at the Grammy Awards.
Tribbet is the child of a former pastor, and his musical journey has always involved performing gospel music in Churches during his youth. By 2000, he was already touring with the likes of Faith Hill, Usher, Will Smith, and Don Henley. At the time, he was promoting his self-released debut album, Ideas & Concepts. By 2004, he had released his major label debut, Life, which made a breakthrough on Billboard’s Gospel charts. Two years later, Tribbett released Victory Live!, which broke into the Billboard 200 and topped the gospel charts, making it his first album to go number 1.
