The Queens of Christmas are taking their 2024 holiday show to the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre in Indianapolis on Saturday, November 23rd. They’re promising a brand-new show, so if you saw it last year at any of the stops on the tour, it doesn’t count! You can expect the same attitude from two of America’s most beloved drags. They’ll be encountering new challenges to celebrate the holidays this year, though!
This experience with Jinkx & DeLa is reserved for those over 18 years old. The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday show has become one of the most anticipated seasonal theater shows of the end-of-year season. It’s already picked up two Queerty Awards that recognize its creativity as a live performance. The duo's effort to create a brand-new show every year is commendable. They could definitely sit back on the laurels and bring the same act every year. There would be people lining up to live the experience again and again. If you want to see the original show, though, you’re going to have to buy the recording because they’re not bringing it back to Indy or any city in 2024! Are we getting an even newer take on the nativity story from Jinkx and BenDeLaCreme?
At this point, everything is still on the table! This show in Indianapolis on Saturday, November 23rd, is part of the first leg of the tour. That means you won’t have to fight off too many spoilers that could make this night at the Murat Theater less memorable. It’s a lock, though, that both Jinkx & DeLa are going to be acting like your crazy aunts who want to put a twist on the family holidays. The entire Murat Theater is going to be open for this Holiday Special. It’s going to be up to you to decide where you want to watch the show from. The front rows in the pit area can get a bit more “rowdy” than at your typical play. That’s just the way things go when Jinkx & DeLa are on stage.
