The world fell in love with them six decades ago when they first exploded onto the music scene, and still are, even now that they are finally hanging up their show-hats and bidding us farewell. But first, they will be pulling in to the Murat Theatre with what promise to be a bucket-list celebration of pop music at its sweetest, purest, and best, with all the classics and then some!
Frankie Valli had his commercial release with “My Mother’s Eyes”, and after forming The Four Seasons, broke into the industry with their debut album featuring the single “Sherry”, skyrocketing onto charts everywhere. Their subsequent several million-selling singles, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Walk Like a Man”, “Candy Girl”, “Ain’t That A Shame”, and their unique rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, had the world at their feet in an instant. Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons became the first rock band to hit number one on the Billboard singles charts with three consecutive entries.
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ legacy is incomparable and influences far-reaching: the band’s original line-up was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999, and the New Jersey Hall of Fame in 2017. The group is also the inspiration behind the highly successful Broadway production, “Jersey Boys”.
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’s Last Encores Tour will be blowing audiences away one last time with their charming stage presence, charisma, and appeal, mixed with musical perfection and extraordinarily soaring vocals that belie the decades!
The current Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons tour group comprises Frankie Valli as lead vocalist and backing vocalists Robby Robinson, Ronin Bay, Craig Cady, and Aaron Alexander Gordon, backed by a stellar live band.
