Celebrate Bob Dylan’s acclaimed 2020 album in Murat Theatre at the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana with the Rough and Rowdy Ways World Wide Tour. His 39th studio album is one of his most diverse albums yet, mixing the unique sounds of Americana, folk, blues, and rhythm and blues together. It blends acoustic folk tracks "I Contain Multitudes", "Black Rider", "Mother of Muses", "Key West (Philosopher Pirate)" together with electric blues songs "False Prophet", "Goodbye Jimmy Reed", "Crossing the Rubicon", a torch anthem "I've Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You", and a couple of genre-bending songs such as "My Own Version of You", "Murder Most Foul".
Just like Bob Dylan’s most recent concerts, the rock n roll legend will bring out some of his latest and greatest cover songs like Grateful Dead‘s “West L.A. Fadeaway,” “Truckin,” “Brokedown Palace,” and “Stella Blue,” as well as interpretations of Merle Haggard’s “Bad Actor,” Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic,” and Bob Weir’s 2016 banger “Only a River.”
Rough and Rowdy Ways was a worldwide hit, soaring to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 charts. Bob Dylan has 39 epic albums, ten Grammy awards, a Nobel Prize and 65 years under his belt, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down! In 2023, he released Shadow Kingdom, a collection of new tracks to complement Alma Har’el’s movie Shadow Kingdom: The Early Songs of Bob Dylan, followed by Fragments – Time Out of Mind Sessions (1996-1997): The Bootleg Series, Vol. 17.
This is your unique opportunity to witness the Nobel prize winner’s keyboard mastery live and up close! “Dylan’s solos flow luxuriantly, from the rippling coda of an old-timey Watching the River Flow to some emphatic honky-tonk attacks on the much newer False Prophet.” - Review of the Rough and Rowdy Ways World Wide Tour by the Guardian
