Hey Indy! Hey Indie Pop fans across the Midwest! We’ve got to Talk about this next artist coming to town with her crew to perform the Night Shift on stage over here at Murat Theatre - ‘cause it’s going to be major. A self proclaimed Historian and Fighter of TIme, after this show you’ll be begging her to Please Stay for encores and extra Cartwheels as she rocks out her set in the theatre - okay, maybe just not actual cartwheels is the only thing. Lucy Dacus is on her Forever Is A Feeling Worldwide Tour, and she’ll be here at The Murat Theatre in downtown Indie on Tuesday September 16th! A tour destined to be filled with showstoppers and iconic indie moments along the way - this is going to be one of those concerts you just don’t want to miss as the Autumn time rolls in and you get your apple cider vibes going strong.

Lucy Dacus, the ultimate indie rocker and guitarist who has stunned the world with her come up and mega collabs, is coming to Murat Theatre this September to deliver us a massive blessing from the indie folk gods - and we’re so excited for it! Murat Theatre is located in the heart of Indy and one of the most iconic venues in the state of Indiana. Built in 1909 and with a centuries old history, Murat is one of the most history filled and eclectic venues in the city - and is the perfect place for Lucy to dawn the stage as she gives us her next chapter of songs and feels on her 2025 Forever Is A Feeling Tour. And this tour has taken Lucy all over the globe - hitting stops and an impressive list of shows all across the world since this Spring. Lucy has done and seen it all - The Met in Philly, Radio City Music Hall in NYC, The Chicago Theatre, Rockefeller in Oslo, Astra in Berlin, the Trianon in Paris, and of course - right here at Murat Theatre.
Lucy parlays in many genres as she floats through the musical landscape doing whatever she pleases, but above all - she makes thought provoking, immersive soundscapes that give her the room to tell us in detail about her life and her history to this point. She’s a writer and a dreamer above all, and when her first EP No Burden came out about a decade ago - it was clear that Lucy was here to stay, and her first shows and article reviews showed this. She eventually teamed up with the likes of Phoebe Bridges and Julien Baker to form Boygenius - one of her most successful projects and that saw the release of their album the record. Since then, Lucy has felt all the accolades of music stardom - headlining sold out shows and festivals, deep dives into her archive by music bloggers and fans alike, shows in Tokyo - and everything in between. Now, with Forever Is A Feeling officially out and with months for us to learn all its lyrics - it’s time to hear Lucy give it all, and we’re ready to receive!
