Emily in Paris, a television series that became an instant hit upon its premiere in 2020, is the basis and foundation of the upcoming 2025 theatrical fashion show tour. The series, which features gorgeous scenes and the top fashion trends, was clearly veering towards a live event. “The tour is an extension of the show’s appeal”, says series creator Darren Star who fully supports the decision to adapt the show into a live fashion event.
Showgoers will surely be able to appreciate the actual fashion pieces from the iconic looks and outfits of Emily presented on the runway stage, complemented by set design elements straight from Emily in Paris. The series’ costume designer, Marylin Fitoussi, serves as the main inspiration and also acts as creative consultant for the tour to ensure accuracy across all presented fashionwear.
More than just the fashion show at the core of the Couture on Tour production, the producers have also promised a multitude of activities for all the attendees. Taken straight from the television series, step into Emily’s closet with exact replicas of her outfits, or act as if you’re part of Emily in Paris through the iconic scenes, sets, and interactive exhibits.
