After nearly SIX DECADES, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band finally signals the conclusion of their legendary touring performances with the “All the Good Times: The Farewell Tour.” The series sets up 25 cities to visit across the US, kicking off this spring before making its way to Indiana for a May 9th appearance at the Murat Theatre with guest singer Mae Estes!
The “All the Good Times” concert is exactly what it sounds like — a joy ride through NGDB’s tallest musical heights, heralded by their self-titled debut and milestoned by seminal records such as the Will the Circle Be Unbroken and its 2x GRAMMY Award-winning followup. From Long Beach jug band revival to multi-awarded country troubadours, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band painted the genre’s ‘70s scene in broad folksy strokes and down-home streaks. Country popstar Mae Estes will be the show’s special opening act, honoring the legends of pioneers like Dolly Parton and Kitty Wells with the rootsy and plain-spoken traditionalist style of her stone-cold hits, such as “Thinkin' 'Bout Cheatin'” and “Hell You Raised.”
