Frozen Broadway Synopsis
Fresh off the heels of the 2013 Academy Award-winning animated movie, Frozen follows the story of two royal sisters called Anna and Elsa. At a young age, they were torn apart by a mysterious secret. Elsa struggles to discover her voice and control her powers within, while Anna sets off on an epic adventure. Elsa is a newly crowned queen that accidentally triggers a never ending winter in the town of Arendelle. Meanwhile, Anna is her younger sister who is determined to find her sister and save the kingdom. Confronting an unsuspected villain, uncontrollable ice powers, and surprises around every corner, Anna alongside her friends Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, join forces to bring back summer. That’s before it was dethroned by Frozen II six years later.

So far, it’s been nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Musical, Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre, Best Book of a Musical, Best Musical and won a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Puppet Design.
