Home Free Vocal Band emerged in Mankato, Minnesota, in 2001. The group comprises five vocalists: Austin Brown, Adam Rupp, Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Home Free Vocal Band has been a household name in the show group music scene, regularly performing 200 shows yearly. In 2007, the group self-released their debut album, From The Top. After their debut, they continued to drop studio efforts, including the holiday albums Christmas Vols 1 and 2.
In 2013, Home Free Vocal Band competed in NBC’s The Sing-Off Season 4. The group gained worldwide exposure. Their final song, “I Want Crazy” by Hunter Hayes, secured their spot as the grand final winner of season four and won a $100,000 record deal with Sony Music. The following year, they released their sixth album Crazy Life. The album marked the first time the group entered the mainstream charts, peaking at number 40 on the Billboard 200 and number 8 on the Top Country Albums chart.
In 2016, the group released their highest charting album, Full of (Even More) Cheer, released via Columbia Records. The ninth album landed the number 2 spot on the Top Country Albums and 36 on the Billboard 200.
